Girls who join SSB must take part in the league continuously
Solo, Beritasatu.com – Head coach Timo Scheneumann said that female students who train at the soccer school must take part in the league on an ongoing basis.
“We encourage female students to join the soccer school (SSB) so they can take part in the league on an ongoing basis at KU 14 and KU 16,” said Timo on the sidelines of the 10 and 12 year old girls’ soccer tournament in Solo, Central Java, Sunday. (20/10/2024).
Timo Scheneumann further said that the training program is very important because potential and talented female students must always be sharpened and trained by dedicated trainers so that they can be well directed.
The man of German descent who was born in Kediri said that this training program adopted a player relegation promotion system.
“In each city, 21 players will be selected whose progress will be monitored so that if there are participants who have stagnant abilities, their positions will be replaced by other potential players who meet the criteria,” said Coach Timo, nicknamed Timo Scheunemann.
According to him, this was done as an effort to encourage female students to further develop their abilities in playing football.
Meanwhile, the women’s soccer tournament for the 10 and 12 year age group in Solo, Central Java, on 16-20 October 2024 aims to attract future players.
In the final at Solo’s West City Field, SD Kristen Manahan Surakarta won the age 10 category and SDN Tempel Surakarta won the age 12 category.
Djarum Foundation Sports Service Program Director Yoppy Rosimin said the women’s soccer tournament entitled MilkLife Soccer Challenge-Solo Series 2 2024 was competitive and full of surprises.
“The quality of the female students is quite even. We really appreciate the Solo girls from the first day until the end of this tournament. Moreover, quantity is directly proportional to quality, so our efforts to promote football, especially from the grassroots, are slowly producing positive results,” said Yoppy.
According to Yoppy Rosimin, competition does not only extend to the MilkLife Soccer Challenge but also to the MilkLife Soccer Challenge All-Stars.
“Before that, squads in each city consisting of potential female students who were on the talent scouting team’s radar were given special training under the direction of head coach Timo Scheneumann at MilkLife Extra Training,” said Yoppy Rosimin.
