Gold Parachuting Winner from Lampung Gets 1 Hectare of Land as Prize

Bandarlampung, Todaysgist.com – A parachutist from Lampung who won a gold medal at the 21st PON Aceh-North Sumatra 2024 received a prize in the form of one hectare of land from the Head of the Lampung Province Parachuting Association, Hasani.

The athletes who won the gold medal in the women’s team landing accuracy event were Ayu Fitria Handriyani, Benanda Fransiska, and Nurul Chasanah.

They successfully collected the highest points, namely 1.73 points, in the final round to beat the parachuting teams from Yogyakarta and Jakarta.

Hasani, in his statement in Bandarlampung on Sunday (15/9/2024), stated that the one hectare of land was a personal gift as an appreciation for the extraordinary achievements of Lampung’s skydiving athletes.

“I gave this prize as a form of appreciation for their success in contributing gold medals to Lampung,” said Hasani.

He also added that the land was located in Bandar Dalam Village, Negeri Agung District, Way Kanan Regency, Lampung.

In addition to the land prize, the gold medal winning athletes will also receive a bonus from KONI Lampung, in the form of cash worth IDR 300 million for each athlete.

In the parachuting competition held at Sultan Iskandar Muda Air Force Base, Aceh Besar, the silver medal was won by the Yogyakarta team consisting of Yeni Dwi Hermilah, Anggi Triana Wijayanti, and Endang Trilinbrata.

Meanwhile, the bronze medal was won by the Jakarta team through athletes Maria Merlda Ngibawar, Ni Putu Irma Purnama Dewi, and Eki Rachmawati, with a total score of 2.11 points.
