Google Delays Android 15 Launch to October 2024, What’s Going On?

In addition to fixing bugs, Android 15 Beta 4.2 also brings security updates until August 2024, ensuring that devices remain protected from the latest threats.

The Android 15 Beta 4.2 update, which is quite small in size, will be sent automatically via Over-the-air (OTA) update if you are using a Pixel 6 or later device that is enrolled in the Android beta program.

The update size is only 61.8MB on the Pixel 8 Pro, and can be downloaded by going to Settings -> System -> Software update -> System update -> and Check for Pixel device updates.

Even though the Android 15 public beta is almost complete, Google is still working out some issues.

Many users and developers have reported bugs on Android 15 via the Google Issue Tracker, and while some issues have been fixed, there are still quite a few bugs that remain unresolved to this day.
