Google Gemini AI Chatbot in Gmail Now Available for Android Users

Previously, Google introduced Gemini’s expanded access to Google Workspace. Later, users will be able to directly access the generative AI in Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, and other Workspace services.

Based on a Google Workspace blog post, as quoted from Tech Radar, Sunday (6/30/2024), the company announced the general availability of Gemini in Google work applications, such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive.

Later, Gemini in the application will appear in the sidebar panel. This placement will make it easier for users to access Gemini without having to open the website.

The feature can be displayed when users click the “Ask Gemini” button in the upper right corner of the Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Drive logos.

The Gemini presented is also no joke, Google uses Gemini 1.5 Pro, this is the latest multimodal AI model that can provide access to more advanced intelligence.
