Google Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL Announced: Specs, Features, and Price

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – Google officially announced their two newest flagship phones, namely the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, in the early hours of the morning.

These two devices come as successors to the previous Pixel series, bringing various significant improvements, especially in the areas of artificial intelligence (AI) and photography.

The Pixel 9 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch display, while the Pixel Pro XL offers a wider visual experience with a 6.8-inch panel.

Both are powered by Google’s latest Tensor G4 chipset, which promises faster and more efficient performance.

In terms of security, Google has equipped its new phone with the Titan M2 chip and supports more advanced 5G connections than the previous generation.

In terms of durability, both Google phones are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, and are IP68 certified so they are water and dust resistant.

Featured Photography and Video Features

As is the tradition with previous Pixels, Google has packed a variety of advanced photography features into the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

The company installed a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 48MP periscope telephoto lens on the Pixel phone. Google claims that the camera on its phone has extraordinary photography capabilities.

On the front, the 48MP selfie camera is ready to deliver sharp and detailed results.

Not only superior in photography, these two Android phones also support 8K video recording at 30 FPS, as well as the 20x Night Sight Video feature for shooting videos in low light conditions.

One of the latest features introduced by Google is “Add Me.” This feature allows users to take group photos without missing a beat, as Pixel users can easily switch positions to get into the shot.
