Google Reveals Android Cell Phone Pixel Fold Screen, Ready to Launch in the Market in June 2023

Via Google’s Twitter account (@madebygoogle), the company shared a short video about the Pixel Fold with a caption that reads, “May The Fold Be With You.”

Not only that, the search engine giant also includes more complete information about the Google Pixel Fold which will be announced on May 10 2023 or to coincide with the upcoming Google I/O event.

Even though he didn’t reveal more about his first foldable Android cellphone, the Pixel Fold looks similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold cellphone.

When closed, the user will get a second screen and a camera on the back of the smartphone body.

Google is only going to reveal more detailed information about the Pixel Fold when Google I/O 2023 later, but leaks about the specifications of the folding screen phone have already been circulating on the internet.

It is stated that the Google Pixel Fold secondary screen has a size of 5.8 inches. Using an AMOLED panel, this screen has FHD + resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

While the main screen has a size of 7.6 inches which supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. This HP Pixel is armed with the Google Tensor 2 chipset combined with 12GB of RAM with an option of 256GB or 512GB of internal memory.

Meanwhile for photography, the rear camera of this smartphone comes with a 48MP main lens, a 10.8MP ultra wide lens and a 10.8MP telephoto lens. The camera on the inner screen has a resolution of 8MP, as well as the camera on the secondary screen.

Pixel Fold will run Android 13. To support its performance, there is a 4,500mAh capacity battery which Google claims can last all day.

According to predictions, this smartphone will be introduced at the Google I/O event which will be held on May 10, 2023. Meanwhile, sales will start from June 27, 2023.
