Kane’s three goals in this match were scored through penalty kicks. Interestingly, the former Tottenham Hotspur player admitted that he was confused about the direction of the kick when taking the third penalty.

“To be honest, after the second penalty, I was a bit confused about how to score the third penalty. Thankfully, I was able to execute it well,” said Kane.

Kane’s performance also drew praise from Bayern Munich coach Vincent Kompany. The Belgian said Kane is a player who has a strong motivation to win.

“He is very motivated and as a coach it makes my job easier. If you have players who are very motivated it makes everything easier,” Kompany said.
