Hip injury since the Denmark Open forces Anthony Ginting to miss the remaining 2 tournaments
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Anthony Ginting will not appear in the 2024 Kumamoto Masters badminton tournament which will be held on November 12-17 at the Kumamoto Prefectural Gymnasium, Kumamoto, Japan. Ginting has suffered a hip injury since appearing at the Denmark Open, 15-20 October.
That means, Anthony Ginting will not appear in the remaining tournaments this year. The two tournaments are the 2024 Kumamoto Masters and the China Masters which will be held next week.
“Indeed, Ginting felt pain in his waist after the Denmark Open. After returning to Indonesia, he was examined and the recovery process was straight away,” said coach Irwansyah.
According to Irwansyah, his condition is much better but he is not yet ready to compete again. “So it was decided to withdraw from these two tournaments,” said Irwansyah.
Irwansyah hopes that Anthony Ginting can recover completely. “The hope is that he can recover completely, strengthen his waist muscles really optimally so that next year he will be ready and good,” concluded Irwansyah.
Indonesia sent 16 representatives to the Kumamoto Masters which was held this week.
