Hokky Situngkir Becomes New Director General of Aptika, Minister of Communication and Information Gives Strict Instructions

Previously, the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kemkominfo) had appointed Hokky Situngkir as the new Director General of Informatics Applications (Aptika).

Before Hokky Situngkir, the position of Director General of Aptika was held by Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan who resigned on July 4, 2024.

The inauguration of the new Director General of Aptika was held at the Ministry of Communication and Information Office, Friday (19/7/2024). Different from before, this inauguration was held behind closed doors.

Based on monitoring by the Todaysgist.com team on the LinkedIn site, Hokky Situngkir is the founder and researcher at a research organization called the Bandung Fe Institute.

Bandung Fe Institute itself is a research organization that uses a complexity science approach to look at social systems in Indonesia, unique community interactions, management of specific social systems, sustainable development, community development, and natural resources.

Quoting the Bandung Fe Institute page, Hokky Situngkir has been a researcher from 2003 until now.

Until now, he is still listed as Director of the Center for Complexity Studies at Surya University since February 2013.

He also acts as an Advisor at the Sobat Budaya Foundation since October 2014, Founder of Indonesia Archipelago Cultural, and Member of the Journal of Social Complexity.

Before serving as Director General of Aptika, it turns out that Hokky Situngkir had worked at the National Cyber ​​and Crypto Agency (BSSN) from 2019 to 2020 as a Senior Information Technology Advisor for 1 year at BSSN.
