Hong Kong Bitcoin ETF Flows Hit IDR 4 Trillion

Previously, a survey of 32 cryptocurrency experts on the Finder panel predicted significant Ethereum (ETH) price growth.

The average estimate projects the price of Ether to reach USD 5,368 (Rp. 86.8 million) by the end of 2024, USD 7,359 (Rp. 119 million) by the end of 2025, and USD 23,549 (Rp. 381 million) by 2030.

Most respondents expect significant price growth driven by institutional factors such as the introduction of Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

This forecast is slightly less optimistic than the forecast in April.

In particular, Josh Fraser, co-founder of Origin Protocol, predicted that the price of ETH will reach USD 13,500 (Rp. 218.4 million) by the end of the year, attributing this increase to the impact of the upcoming ETH ETF.

Likewise, Cake Group CEO Julian Hosp predicted Ethereum’s price to reach USD 10,000 (Rp. 161.8 million), driven by the launch of ETFs.

Meanwhile, Pedro Febrero of Realfevr predicts that Ethereum’s price will soar to the USD 20,000 (Rp. 323.6 million) range due to its widespread use and potential for institutional investment.

In contrast, John Hawkins from the University of Canberra provides a bearish perspective, predicting ETH will fall to USD 2,700 (Rp. 43.6 million), citing the speculative nature of the cryptocurrency.

“Our panelists predict that the average peak price of ETH in 2024 will be $6,050, with some predicting it will go as high as $20,000. The average lowest price our panelists predict Ethereum will reach in 2024 is $2,669, with some predicting it will go as low as $1,500,” Finder detailed.

“The majority of the panel (64%) said it was time to buy, with just under a third (29%) saying to hold and just 7% saying to sell,” he said.
