The latest trailer for Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores is among us and shows the impressive world that awaits us in the DLC. Guerrilla Games she seems pretty confident of what’s to come and all of this new content looks like it will elevate the show from what we’ve seen before. In this preview we see something of the new area called Burning Shoreswhere we see Aloy facing a variety of machines using new fighting skills.
The Burning Shores DLC will arrive on April 19, 2023, exclusively for PlayStation 5. The reason they’ve left it out for PS4 users, according to director Mathijs de Jonge, is that this is too much for the PS4 to run well. “Cityscape ruins in and around Los Angeles are highly detailed and require a great deal of processing power as well as fast streaming technology to render properly,” recounted de Jonge. “Especially when the player flies over the land and can see a lot at the same time. One of the settlements is located in and around those detailed ruins, and we were able to incorporate a lot of activity there.“
The new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shore promises thanks to its fluid combat, new abilities and the level of spectacle. Fans of the base game already have something to get excited about and make the wait calmer until they can enjoy it on their consoles.
