Huawei Mate XT, The World’s First Triple-Screen Phone Ready to Hit the Global Market?

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – Huawei surprised many by launching the Huawei Mate XT, the world’s first tri-fold phone.

After debuting in China on September 11, 2024, Huawei is ready to introduce its new cellphone to the global market in the first quarter of 2025.

The Huawei Mate XT is equipped with a 10.2-inch flexible LTPO OLED screen that can be folded into two modes, a 7.9-inch and a 6.4-inch screen.

This Huawei cellphone comes with an ultra-thin 3.6mm design and weighs 298 grams, providing comfort when used even though it has sophisticated technology.

The main camera with a 50MP sensor, plus PDAF and OIS features, ensures high-quality photography results.

Not only that, this Huawei cellphone is also supported by a 12MP telephoto lens, 12MP ultrawide, and an 8MP selfie camera suitable for users who like photography.

Using the Tiangong hinge system, the three-fold screen phone is able to withstand long-term use, with various screen modes optimized for multitasking, web browsing, and productivity.

The global launch of this phone is expected to happen in early 2025, although official pricing for international markets has yet to be announced.

Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Specifications

Huawei also equips this smartphone with various AI features. This device is also equipped with an upgraded Xiaoyi voice assistant, or known as Celia internationally.

The device runs HarmonyOS 4.2 and is backed by a 5,600mAh battery. The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate supports 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

This phone comes in two color options, black and red. The Mate XT Ultimate price starts at 19,999 yuan or around Rp43.3 million.

For now, Huawei is most likely only releasing the Mate XT Ultimate for the Chinese market. Therefore, it is not yet known whether this device will be available for the global market.
