I Wayan Warka, General Chair of the Inkatsu Pordibya Karate College

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – First Admiral TNI (Ret.) I Wayan Warka became the general chairman of the Pordibya Indonesian Karate-Jutsu Institute Martial Arts School or Inkatsu Pordibya. Wayan Warka became general chairman of the national deliberation (Munas) in Jakarta, Sunday, (1/12/2024).

The National Conference decided and determined after Wayan Warka received the most votes in the plenary election for general chairman of Inkatsu Pordibya.

Apart from the agenda for changing the general chairman, the Inkatsu Pordibya national meeting this time also included ratification of the college’s articles of association and bylaws, reaffirmation of historical truth, and the existence of Inkatsu Pordibya.

This time, the National Conference also again urged the Indonesian Karate-Do Sports Federation (FORKI) to immediately restore Inkatsu Pordibya’s position as a FORKI member.

This insistence is a logical follow-up after Inkatsu Pordibya won the legal process at the Indonesian Arbitration Board (Baori) and the Civil Case lawsuit no. 654/Pdt.G/2023 at the North Jakarta District Court some time ago.

Elected general chairman I Wayan Warka said that the most urgent agenda for the new management he leads is to ensure that the results of the national meeting are formally known and recorded by FORKI.

“Inkatsu Pordibya is one of the 25 karate schools that founded FORKI. History records that. The karate community in Indonesia is also aware of this historical record. “We are sure that the struggle to restore Inkatsu Pordibya’s position at FORKI will soon become a reality,” said Wayan Warka.

It is said that support from dozens of karate schools has also strengthened Pordiya’s determination and enthusiasm. “We will immediately restore our legal position at FORKI,” he said.

The Inkatsu Pordibya National Conference was attended by 11 karate colleges who supported this college to return to its position as a member of FORKI. The 11 colleges are Wadokai, Shoto-Kai, INKAI, Inkado, Gabdika, Gojukai, Keishinkan, Shiroite, Shokadido, Kyokushinkai, and KKI.

Also present was member of the FORKI organization Achmad Falconi. This year’s Inkatsu Pordibya National Conference carries the theme Strengthening Determination, Reclaiming Glory.
