Indodax Crypto Exchange Platform Allegedly Hacked, IDR 335 Billion Lost?

In a post on his Twitter account, Teguh attached an image showing that the Indodax system was allegedly hacked.

“Indodax, one of the crypto exchangers in Indonesia, is suspected of being hacked with a total loss from illegal transactions of more than USD 21.8 million or around IDR 335 billion,” said Teguh on his Twitter account.

Based on the upload, Teguh said the losses reached hundreds of billions of rupiah and this information has been confirmed by the company’s Chief Technology Officer or CTO.

“Indodax CTO confirmed that there was a security incident and until now Indodax’s status is still under maintenance,” he said.

Meanwhile, amidst the news of the hacking experienced by Indodax, Indodax CEO Oscar Darmawan said that his members’ balances were 100 percent safe both in crypto and rupiah.
