Indonesia Focuses on One Match at a Time

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – The coach of the Indonesian U-20 national team, Indra Sjafri, will focus his team on looking at each of the three Group F matches of the U-20 Asian Cup qualification which will be held over five days, 25-29 September.

Indonesia is hosting Group F of the U-20 Asian Cup qualifiers to host three teams, namely Timor Leste, Maldives, and Yemen at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Madya Stadium, Jakarta.

The Red and White Team will meet the Maldives in the first match, Wednesday (25/9/2024). “Earlier I had a meeting with the players, we will finish one game at a time,” said Indra Sjafri, Tuesday (24/9/2024).

“So we will focus first tomorrow because we will focus on the first match against the Maldives. Then the second match against Timor Leste, and finally Yemen. We assume that all the teams present here will respond well and never consider these three teams, which is better, which is less,” he said.

Regarding the preparations made by his team, Indra admitted that he was optimistic about the preparations that had been made. The U-20 national team got the best results in the first preparation when they won the 2024 AFF U-19 Cup in Surabaya in July.

After the AFF U-19, Indonesia underwent preparations by participating in a small tournament in South Korea, the Seoul Earth On Us Cup 2024 and then underwent a training camp in Bali for about two weeks.
