Indonesia Successfully Defeats Saudi Arabia, Prabowo: The National Team is Extraordinary!

Rio de Janeiro, Beritasatu.com – President Prabowo Subianto expressed his gratitude to the Indonesian National Team for defeating Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the third round of qualifying for the 2026 World Cup at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan Main Stadium, Jakarta, Tuesday (19/11/2024).

“Thank you, the national team is great!” said Prabowo when met at the Galeao Air Force Military Base, Brazil, after attending the 2024 G-20 Summit.

The busy activities at the 2024 G-20 Summit which was held in Brazil did not dampen Prabowo’s enthusiasm for supporting the Indonesian National Team. He still took the time to watch the 2026 World Cup qualifying match for Asia Group C, Indonesia against Saudi Arabia, via the cellphone screen in the car.

This can be seen from uploads to his personal Instagram account @prabowo. At 22.00 WIB, the account uploaded the moment Prabowo, dressed formally in a gray suit, blue tie and complete with a black cap, was in the car while holding a cell phone in his left hand.

He appeared to be smiling while clenching his right fist after Indonesia succeeded in breaking into Saudi Arabia’s goal.

“Garuda spirit. Come on, Indonesia,” wrote Prabowo in the photo caption.

Prabowo is scheduled to visit England to continue his series of working visits. There he will meet British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and King Charles III.
