Indonesia vs Saudi Arabia National Team Match, Polda Metro Jaya Deploys 2,811 Personnel
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Thousands of security personnel were deployed to secure the 2026 World Cup qualifying match in the Asian zone between the Indonesian National Team vs Saudi Arabia at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK) Jakarta on Tuesday (19/11/2024) evening.
“Polda Metro Jaya has alerted 2,811 joint personnel to secure the Indonesia vs Saudi Arabia football match at GBK Jakarta which will be held on Tuesday night,” said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi in his statement.
Ade Ary explained that the thousands of personnel consisted of joint personnel from Polda Metro Jaya, Polres Metro Central Jakarta, TNI, Jakarta Provincial Government.
“Later, they will be distributed in several locations, starting from the entrance, the match location, to around the Senayan area,” he said.
Ade Ary appealed to supporters who came to SUGBK to watch the Indonesia vs Saudi Arabia national team match in an orderly and non-anarchistic manner.
He also asked supporters not to bring any flares to firecrackers.
“We urge all parties to maintain security and order at the location of the Indonesia vs Saudi Arabia national team match,” concluded Ade Ary.
