Indonesian Jetski Stars Aero and Aqsa Aswar Reveal Preparations for the 2023 SEA Games Cambodia

Liputan6.com, Jakarta The twin brothers Aero Aswar and Aqsa Aswar will also enliven the competition in the jetski sport at the 2023 SEA Games in Cambodia. As is known, the matches for the sport are scheduled to roll from May 13-16.

Aero and Aqsa also revealed their preparations ahead of appearing in sports tournaments multi events in Southeast Asia. The athlete who had made achievements at the Jetski World Championships admitted that he had been consolidating in the United States for several weeks.

After that, Aero and Aqsa will still try their hand at training in Indonesia before leaving for Angkor Wat on Monday (8/5/2023). As for there, they will again carry out a series of tests on the jetski to adjust to the conditions at the race location.

“(For) now, the jetski (which will be used) has departed from the United States to Cambodia, is still on the plane, should arrive tomorrow. Later we will go – because there is still a holiday in Cambodia – probably only on Monday,” said Aero Aswar when met at the studio fitness Hustle, which is located in the Jakarta area, Thursday (4/5/2023) afternoon WIB.

“Actually there are (groups) who have gone (to the SEA Games 2023 Cambodia), but if we (go) with them, all we have is watching other people’s (preparations), it’s not efficient. So we better go as fast as possible because the jet skis are ready.”

“Yesterday we also went to the US (United States), for almost three weeks. (We) went to LA to practice there, then to Arizona to test the jetskis. Later in Cambodia, we need (time) about 2-3 days to find the tune again because the weather in LA and Cambodia is different,” added the 28-year-old man.

This is the person who won the 12th gold medal at the 2018 Asian Games. Aqsa Sutan Aswar was the best in the open endurance runabout number for the 2018 Asian Games jet ski sport at Ancol Beach.
