Indonesian Men’s National Volleyball Team Gives All Players Opportunity to Perform in Yogyakarta

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – The Indonesian men’s national volleyball team is giving all players the opportunity to appear in the 2024 SEA V League at the UNY Sports Hall, Yogyakarta, Friday (23/8/2024) to Sunday (25/8/2024).

In the 2024 SEA V League in Manila, Philippines, last week, there was one player who did not get the chance to appear, namely Kristo Sina. The NTT-born player is a debutant with Dawuda Alaihimas Salam and Alfin Daniel Pratama at the senior level with the Indonesian national team.

Dawuda, who was Indonesia’s star at the U-20 Asian Championship in Surabaya last month, was briefly played as a substitute. Likewise, Alfin was brought on to replace senior toser Dio Zulfikri.

“We hope all players play in the SEA V League in Yogyakarta. In Manila, only Kristo Sina has not played. Here, hopefully he can play. Wait for the opportunity,” said assistant coach of the Indonesian national volleyball team Victor Laiyan.

Kristo Sina played quite well during the final training ahead of the SEA V League match, Thursday (22/8/2024). The player who plays as a middle block is quite compatible with toser Dio and also Alfin.

“I am already familiar with the balls that Kristo asked for, because we are in the same club,” said Alfin, a player trained by the Indomaret Sidoarjo club.

According to Victor, the team formation that will be displayed in the 2024 SEA V League in Yogyakarta will likely not change. The six core players who will appear are Dio, Farham Halim, Yudha Mardiansyah, Hendra Kurniawan, Agil Angga, and Rendy Tamamilang.
