Inter Milan Frustrated by Jay Idzes et al, Lautaro Martinez Disappointed with the Leadership of Female Referees

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Lautaro Martinez expressed his disappointment with the decision of female referee Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi after Inter Milan only achieved a narrow 1-0 victory over Venezia in the 2024/2025 Serie A continuation, Sunday (3/11/2024).

Even though Venice is in the relegation zone in the 2024/2025 Italian League standings, defending champion Inter Milan is apparently frustrated by the club played by Indonesian National Team (Timnas) defender Jay Idzes.

Regarding this incident, Lautaro Martinez was also angry with referee Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi for her overall performance.

“There was no extra time in the first half, but there was seven minutes in the second half. I think football needs to develop, and we are not doing that,” Lautaro Martinez told DAZN.

“This is the reason why we feel angry. If we want football to be better, we all have to try more,” he added.

For Lautaro Martinez, the only goal was the first at San Siro in the last eight months. Martinez’s last goal at home came against Atalanta last February.
