JAMES GUNN CONFIRMS DCU’S BATMAN – This past week, several rumors involving who will be the new actor behind Batman ‘s identity in the new DC Universe circulated on social media, mostly pointing to star George Clooney as the possible name. However, amid all the fan scandal, James Gunn goes public and confirms that the character will not be played by someone already known.

For those unfamiliar, since last week, when it was confirmed that The Flash would be getting a new official trailer , several rumors have pointed to an old Batman face taking over the character again. In the past, DC Films, under the direction of Walter Hamada , had plans to bring Michael Keaton under that name, but before the management of DC Studios , everything was uncertain. 

In the last month of February, a feature film of its own for the character, entitled The Brave and The Bold , was confirmed . Faced with these rumors, fans began to theorize who would be the character’s face, especially pointing to George Clooney and Christian Bale , but that is not in James Gunn ‘s plans .
