Jang Geun Suk Just Had Thyroid Cancer Surgery, Explains Why It’s Only Now Being Revealed

Todaysgist.com, Seoul – Jang Geun Suk has shared some shocking news about his health. He recently underwent surgery for thyroid cancer.

Reported from Allkpop on Monday (19/8/2024), this was conveyed by the Korean drama star Love Rain in his YouTube video titled “Hello, this is Jang Geun Suk. I have a confession.”

In the one-minute video, Jang Geun Suk is shown sitting in the passenger seat of a car. “I’m greeting you here after a long time. Actually, I was diagnosed with cancer a year ago.”

He continued, “I didn’t reveal it right away, because I felt like it would surprise a lot of people.”

Just two weeks before making this video, Jang Geun Suk underwent surgery. In the video he shared, there was also a clip of him in the medical examination room.

“Fortunately, the surgery was successful. It’s been two weeks and now I’m in good condition,” said Jang Geun Suk.

The experience of undergoing cancer surgery apparently made Jang Geun Suk anxious. “I can talk like this now. For 8 days, I was so scared that I didn’t do anything to stress my body.”
