Jorge Martin is Champion at the Mandalika Circuit, This is the MotoGP Rider Standings

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – The 2024 Indonesian MotoGP event finished on Sunday (29/9/2024) at the Mandalika Circuit. Spanish racer Jorge Martin became champion in the 15th series of MotoGP races.

The Prima Pramac Racing racer was the fastest followed by Pedro Acosta from the Redbull GasGas Tech 3 team in second place. The third podium position was occupied by Ducati Lenovo racer Francesco Bagnaia.

The fourth to top 10 positions are filled by Franco Morbidelli, Marco Bezzecchi, Maverick Vinales, Fabio Quartararo, Brad Binder, Zohan Zarco and Raul Fernandez. Enea Bastianini and Marc Marquez did not finish the race at the Mandalika Circuit. Batianini stopped because he fell, while the motorbike Marquez was riding caught fire.

The next MotoGP will be held in Japan at the Motegi Circuit on October 6 2024.

The victory in Indonesia made Jorge Martin even stronger in first place in the drivers’ standings. This 26 year old racer is in the top position with 366 points. Francesco Bagnaia took second place with 345 points.

Enea Bastianini is in third place with a collection of 291 points, followed by Marc Marquez with 288 points. Second place in Mandalika lifted Pedro Acosta’s position to fifth with 181 points.

The sixth to 10th positions in the MotoGP racer standings are occupied by Brad Binder (173), Maverick Vinales (162), Aleix Espargaro (127), Marco Bezzecchi (125), and Fabio Di Gianantonio (122).

After Japan next week, this year’s MotoGP racing will continue in Australia, Thailand, Malaysia and Valencia.
