Kapolri Cup Zone 4 Thursday 22 August Begins with West Java Police Women’s Team vs Central Java

Todays gist – The 2024 Kapolri Cup volleyball tournament zone 4 today, Thursday (22/8/2024) will begin with a match between the West Java Regional Police women’s team and Central Java, starting at 12.00 WIB.

The West Java Regional Police women’s team won their first action at the 2024 Kapolri Cup zone 4, Wednesday (21/8/2024). The team coached by Risco Herlambang won a landslide victory over the Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) Regional Police with a score of 3-0 (25-7, 25-15, and 25-10),

Meanwhile, the Central Java Police women’s team lost narrowly when they met the East Java Police, Wednesday (21/8/2024). Central Java certainly hopes to be able to win over the host to keep their chances alive.

West Java Police women’s team coach Risco Herlambang said his team’s game when defeating DIY was not optimal. Risco admitted that he was still changing players, in order to achieve satisfactory results in this first match.

“If I look at it, we haven’t tested our team yet. We are still dismantling and assembling (players). Because our target is to prepare this team for PON,” said Risco Herlambang after the match at GOR Pajajaran, Bandung City. Wednesday (08/21/2024).

Risco added that his party hopes that the West Java Regional Police women’s volleyball team can win the championship so that they can advance to the next stage.

“Our hope in this tournament is to qualify for the next round with champion status. There will certainly be a special strategy against Central Java tomorrow. Some of the Central Java Regional Police players are members of the Central Java PON team. Many of the players also often meet in Proliga,” he said.

The 2024 Kapolri Cup tournament on Thursday (22/8/2024) will also bring together the Central Java Police men’s team against West Java and is scheduled for 14.00-16.00 WIB. While in the last match, the East Java Police men’s team will meet against DIY which is planned to be held at 16.00-18.00 WIB.
