KARA's Park Gyuri Suffers Facial Injury Ahead of Comeback, Fractured Cheekbone Requires Surgery
Todaysgist.com, Jakarta Ahead comeback The long-awaited, KARA's Park Gyuri actually got a terrible incident. Her agency, Big Boss Entertainment, announced that the actress recently suffered a serious injury to her face, precisely her cheekbone and orbital which were cracked or fractured.
“Recently, Park Gyuri suffered a fracture of her cheekbone and orbital bone during her personal activities, and she underwent a thorough examination after visiting the hospital,” said Gyuri's agency KARA, as reported by SoompiMonday (15/7/2024).
He added, “Based on the results, the doctor considered the location of the injury and suggested that he undergo surgery, and we were also informed that the recovery period for the surgery would be around four to five weeks.”
The members KARA and her agency then discussed, and decided that Gyuri would avoid heavy activities during treatment, and would focus on recovery.
“Therefore, we would like to inform you that (Park Gyuri) will not be able to carry out her activities in July,” the agency said.
At the end of the announcement, Big Boss Entertainment emphasized that Park Gyuri's health and safety are the agency's top priority.
