Konami Shows Gameplay of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater at Xbox Games Showcase 2024, When Will It Be Released?

Now, gamers can see the gameplay of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater directly, complete with the ability of Naked Snake (Snake) to paralyze enemies.

Not only that, gamers can also see the shooting action that is carried out when the option to stealth (stealth action) is not available during an invasion of an opponent's base.

In this Xbox Games Showcase, Konami shows how the remake game Metal Gear Solid Δ (pronounced Delta): Snake Eater was remade using Unreal Engine 5.

It is known, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater was first released in 2004 for the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo 3DS consoles.

In this remake version of Metal Gear Solid Delta, Konami will bring a number of new mechanics and graphic improvements to this game. One of the highlights is the damage system.

Quoting the official statement, Thursday (13/6/2024), now every damage Naked Snake receives will leave a scar as the player completes the game.

Not only that, the controls and camera layout in the game will also be more intuitive to provide a more immersive and easy playing experience.

Producer Noriaki Okamura, the figure responsible for the Metal Gear Solid series for decades also appears in this series.

He said, “for Metal Gear Solid Delta's gameplay, story, and voice acting we kept elements from the original game.”

“However, we needed to overhaul the graphics and controls to match modern standards that have developed over the years,” said Noriaki.

Even though it presents amazing cutscenes and gameplay, the Japan-based company is still reluctant to reveal when Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater will be released.
