Lanny/Fadia Again Face Hsieh/Hung in the Final

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Women’s doubles Lanny Tria Mayasari/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti again faced Taiwanese doubles Hsieh Pei Shan/Hung En-Tzu in the final. The two pairs met in the final of the Wondr by BNI Indonesia Masters II Super 100 2024 badminton tournament in Surabaya, Sunday (2/11/2024).

In the semifinal match of the Indonesia Masters II which was held at the Jatim Expo, Surabaya, Saturday (2/11/2024), the world number 140 won in two straight games over his compatriots, Arlya Nabila Thesa Munggaran/Az Zahra Ditya Ramadhani with a score of 21-9 , 21-14.

In the semifinals, the winner of the Wondr by BNI Indonesia International Challenge 2024 in Surabaya last week took the initiative to attack from the start of the match. By putting pressure on their opponents, Lanny/Fadia won two straight games in 38 minutes.

“Today’s opponent is not easy. So we try to attack directly on the defense. “In terms of play, they are very tough and also understand each other’s strengths and weaknesses,” said Fadia.

Hsieh Pei Shan/Hung En-Tzu stepped into the top match after defeating the Thai pair, Pichamon Phatcharaphisutsin/Nannapas Sukklad with a score of 21-19, 21-10.

Again facing Hsieh/Hung, Lanny/Fadia tried to give their best game. Both of them did not think about the meeting record. Lanny/Fadia excelled after winning with a score of 21-9, 21-16 in the final of the 2024 Indonesia International Challenge in Surabaya.

“We have nothing to lose. “We met with them last week,” said Fadia.

Lanny added that the two of them would communicate with each other in the field. “We remind each other again for the final match tomorrow. “We will prepare optimally for tomorrow’s final match,” Lanny added.
