id Software, the studio behind the DOOM franchise, recently announced the latest installment of the game. During the Xbox Games Showcase, the studio announced DOOM: The Dark Ages.
This latest first-person shooter game will take players back in time, before the events of DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal.
In an official statement received on Friday (14/6/2024), id Software revealed that DOOM: The Dark Ages will invite players to play DOOM Slayer, a hero who fought against the Gods and Kings in a medieval war against the forces of Hell.
In this FPS game, players will be equipped with various iconic weapons such as the Super Shotgun. However, not only that, players will also be able to use deadly new weapons such as the Shield Saw.
In addition, DOOM: The Dark Ages also gives players the opportunity to ride the Mecha Dragon, including controlling a giant mecha named Atlan to destroy giant demons.
With this announcement, fans of the DOOM franchise can look forward to exciting new experiences in this latest game.
