London Cannon Doesn’t Underestimate the Host

London, Beritasatu.com -The London derby will be presented in the Fulham vs Arsenal match at Craven Cottage in Week 15 of the 2024/2025 Premier League, Sunday (8/12/2024) at 21.00 WIB. Both teams have good capital for the upcoming match.

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta hopes his team will appear dominant in the game. “We want to be kings in everything, both set pieces, high pressing and attacking in open space. “We want the best atmosphere in the stadium and to be the best in everything,” said Arteta.

Arteta admitted that Fulham was not an easy opponent. Reflecting on last season, Arsenal lost five points against Fulham.

“This will be a big challenge. We lost five points against them last year. “I really praise the players, the coaches and what they do, so it’s always a very difficult place to be,” he continued.

Furthermore, Arteta still cannot confirm whether Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori will be able to play in the Fulham vs Arsenal match. Both were injured against West Ham United so they were absent when they beat Manchester United.

Meanwhile, Fulham coach Marco Silva said the match against Arsenal would be a tough test for his players. However, he believes his players are able to put up a fight and are ready to show off.

“They will probably be more aware of our strengths and it will be more difficult for us. Of course we like challenges like this.

“You know how Mikel (Arteta) and the Arsenal team respect everyone in this competition. “They know that it is very difficult to play and win games at this level,” he said.

Silva admits that Arsenal has great strength in maximizing dead balls. However, according to him, Fulham also deserves to be respected. Especially if you look at Fulham’s performance against Arsenal last season. “We scored two goals against them in set-piece situations last season, and they didn’t score against us (set-piece situations) and let’s hope we can repeat that,” said Silva regarding the Fulham vs Arsenal match later.
