“London Cannon” on the Wind

London, Todaysgist.com– Arsenal’s unbeaten record in the Premier League this season was tested again when they hosted Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium in Week 6, Saturday (28/9/2024) at 21.00 WIB.

Arsenal are unbeaten so far after packing three wins and two draws. On the other hand, Leicester is still without a win. The promoted team had three draws and two defeats.

On paper, of course Arsenal are the favorites. However, underestimating Leicester could be disastrous because squad handled by Steve Cooper will certainly appear insistent to get his first win of the season.

“What is certain is that they have a lot of ability. It is evident what he (Steve Cooper) did with the previous team, what he tried to do,” said Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta, quoted on the Arsenal website.

“I’ve watched three or four games this season. They have a lot of threats,” said Arteta.

The Spanish coach hopes his team can return to their winning track after being held to a 2-2 draw by Manchester City last week. Meanwhile, Leicester are also highly motivated after drawing 1-1 against Everton.

After that, Arsenal and Leicester both won the League Cup. Arsenal won 5-1 over Boltoon, while Leicester had to play a penalty shootout to get rid of Walsall.

Leicester coach Steve Cooper asked his players to perform perfectly in the match. “Our game must be good both with the ball and without the ball. We have to be aware of their set pieces. “Everything must be close to perfect, including mentality and beliefs,” he said.

Estimated Lineup
Arsenal (4-4-2): Raya; Calafiori, Magalhaes, Lintasa, Timber; Martinelli, Rice, Partey, Saka; Havertz, Trossard.

Leicester City (4-2-3-1): Hermansen; Kristiansen, Okoli, Faes, Justin; Skipp, Winks; Mavididi, Ndidi, Ayew; Vardy.
