Losing 2 consecutive matches, Ancelotti calls Real Madrid’s condition worrying
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti admitted that his team was in a worrying condition after suffering two consecutive defeats after being humiliated by AC Milan in the Champions League, Wednesday (6/11/2024) early morning WIB at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.
This is the second defeat in a row for the most successful team in the world in various competitions. Previously, they also endured a crushing 1-4 defeat when they hosted Barcelona in the Spanish League match.
Real Madrid equalized the score after Vinicius Junior scored from the penalty spot. Previously, they fell behind after their goal was broken through by Malick Thiaw. However, Real Madrid had to suffer defeat after Ancelotti’s team scored two goals from Alvaro Morata and Tijjani Reijnders.
Carlo Ancelotti admitted he was concerned about his team’s current situation. “We should be worried, because in the last few matches the team has not been in good condition. We were not solid,” he explained.
According to this Italian coach, Real Madrid did not defend well and were not united. “We have to be more unified, more orderly,” he said.
Ancelotti also confirmed that he took Federico Valverde off in the first half due to injury, not for tactical reasons. “Valverde is not 100% yet, he feels discomfort in his back. “Yesterday he trained well, but he felt the pain in the first half and we decided to replace him,” said the coach who once managed AC Milan.
