Macroeconomics analyst Lyn Alden revealed her main investment bet on cryptocurrency for the year 2025. He indicated Bitcoin (BTC) as the most promising asset in a scenario of increased liquidity in the market.
In an interview with financial journalist and YouTuber David Lin, Alden explained that his bullish outlook for Bitcoin next year is due to the asset’s historical bull run when monetary conditions become more favorable and liquidity increases.
Alden also highlighted that the current moment seems to signal the end of a period of credit restriction in the United States. And this favors an environment of greater liquidity. Furthermore, he noted that China has been promoting economic stimuli, which tends to inject even more liquidity into the global market.
The analyst also highlighted that the behavior of the TGA (US Treasury General Account) in the first half of 2025 will be a determining factor for the level of liquidity available, especially considering that up to US$800 billion could reach the banking system, depending on developments. of possible disputes over the American debt ceiling.
Analyst reveals cryptocurrency with greatest potential for 2025
In this context, Alden declared that he was optimistic about the increase in liquidity for the next twelve months. And, by extension, he believes that Bitcoin will also benefit from this scenario. She pointed out the strong correlation between cryptocurrency performance and increased liquidity, which reinforces her positive view on the digital asset.
However, Lin considered that this correlation may not happen at times when the cryptocurrency’s market value is far above its realized capitalization value, which measures the price of each Bitcoin unit at the time of the last movement. This indicator seeks to evaluate how many holders are making a profit or loss in relation to the asset.
According to Lin, in some cases, large upward surges can cause Bitcoin’s market value to significantly exceed its realized capitalization value. This makes the asset more susceptible to corrections.
Alden agreed with this analysis, adding that, in periods where the market value is not much above the realized value, as in the current scenario, the risk of extreme overvaluation tends to be lower. For the analyst, the absence of signs of excessive appreciation of Bitcoin, associated with the expected increase in liquidity, is a positive indication for the asset.
Finally, Alden ended the conversation by reaffirming his expectation that the increase in liquidity and the absence of excesses in the valuation of Bitcoin could favor an upward trend for the asset in 2025, in line with the expected movement of monetary easing in the United States and stimulus economies in other parts of the world.
