Malaysia Masters 2023: Christian Adinata Eliminates Wangcharoen

– Indonesian men’s singles, Christian Adinata advanced to the last 16 of the Malaysia Masters 2023. Christian progressed after defeating Thai badminton player, Kantaphon Wangcharoen 21-16, 21-17 with a duration of 47 minutes at the Axiata Arena, Wednesday (24/5/2023).

Mixed doubles also won by Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati. They had to work hard to get through the round of 32 by facing Danish doubles, Mikkel Mikkelsen/Rikke Soby.

In three games, Rehan/Lisa won 15-21, 21-11, 21-14.

But unfortunately, the mixed doubles of Zachariah Joshiahno Sumanto/Hediana Julimarbela had to stop. They lost to Scottish pair Adam Hall/Julie Macpherson 22-24, 19-21.

Previously, another mixed doubles representative, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja advanced to the round of 16. This step was confirmed after Dejan/Gloria frustrated Taiwan’s double match, Ye Hong Wei/Lee Chia Hsin managed to win 21-17, 21-11.
