Manchester United Try to Recruit Euro 2024 Star to Replace Tyrell Malacia
Todaysgist.com, Jakarta- Manchester United are deeply disappointed with the performance of left-back Tyrell Malacia throughout the 2023/2024 season. Malacia is likely to be dumped from Old Trafford in the 2024 summer transfer window to be replaced by another player.
Malacia never played at all throughout the 2023/2024 season. The Dutch player suffered a knee injury that forced him to undergo surgery twice. As a result of Malacia being absent throughout the season, MU experienced a crisis in the left-back position.
Unfortunately, fellow left-back Luke Shaw also suffered a muscle injury and was absent more often. Manager Erik ten Hag had a headache about the left-back position. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Diogo Dalot were shifted to left-back several times even though their original position was right-back.
The Red Devils do not want the tragic incident to repeat itself in the 2024/2025 season. The left-back sector will be improved in the summer transfer market. Malacia will almost certainly be bounced because it is not yet known when he will be able to play again.
The Mirror in the middle of this week reported MU began preparing players to replace Malacia next season. The Red Devils' target is a player who shone at Euro 2024 with the Turkish national team, namely Ferdi Kadioglu.
MU has not yet contacted Fenerbahce, who own Kadioglu, officially. However, Man Utd is scheduled to hold a meeting with the player's representatives in the coming days.
