Marwan/Aisyah Challenge Amri/Nita in the Final of Indonesia Masters II

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Mixed doubles Marwan Faza/Aisyah Salsabila Putri Pranata will challenge other Indonesian players, Amri Syahnawi/Nita Violina Marwah in the final of the Wondr by BNI Indonesia Masters II Super 100 2024 badminton tournament in Surabaya.

In the semifinal match which was held at the East Java Expo, Surabaya, Saturday (2/11/2024), the mixed doubles ranked 120th in the world advanced to the final after defeating their compatriots, Verrell Yustin Mulia/Priscila Venus Elsadai 21-15, 21-8.

The pair, who made their debut in Pekanbaru, admitted that they played much more unified and confident in the semifinals.

“We are certainly happy that after going through the obstacles we were finally able to get through everything well. “We were in a phase of not being confident and we were grateful to be able to return to our game again and advance to the final,” said Marwan.

At the Indonesia Masters 2024 in Pekanbaru, Marwan/Aisyah’s progress was stopped by the Indian pair, Dhruv Kapila/Tanisha Crasto with a score of 13-21, 18-21 in the quarter-finals.

“We achieved less than convincing results in two tournaments in Pekanbaru. “Of course, in this match we tried to be more confident in each other,” said Marwan.

Amri/Nita, in the previous match, overcame the resistance of Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu in two straight games with a score of 21-17, 21-19.
