Maung Bandung Ready to Achieve Victory

Bandung, Beritasatu.com – Persib Bandung coach Bojan Hodak admitted that his team was ready to win the final match against Zhejiang FC in group F of the AFC Champions League 2, at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, West Java, Thursday (5/12/2024) starting at 19.00 WIB.

“Our preparations were a little difficult because several players were sick and injured. However, now the players’ condition is getting better and everyone is ready for the match against Zhejiang,” said Bojan to the media crew, Wednesday (4/12/2024).

Furthermore, said Bojan, he had to see who would play as a starter and who would sit on the bench. However, basically only Victor Igbonefo is not ready and Dimas Drajad is still banned from competing.

“The rest are ready to play. And of course the two U-23 players, Robi Darwis and Kakang Rudianto are not with us. We tried to call Kakang and Rudi but they didn’t accept our request. The reason is because the team is already going on a trip to Myanmar tomorrow. So Persib will appear without them. However, the other players are ready,” stressed Bojan regarding the absence of Kakang and Robi in the Persib vs Zhejiang match.

Bojan admitted that this match was very important because Zhejiang FC is a strong team. The club from China is the most expensive team in group F of the AFC Champions League 2.

“However, we still have hope to play well and finish with positive results and wait for what happens in other matches,” he explained.

Bojan admitted that his team’s atmosphere was very good before meeting Zhejiang.

“As I said earlier, the injured players have improved and have recovered. The sick players have also recovered. So the atmosphere is good ahead of this match. We also haven’t lost for a long time so the spirit in the team is certainly good,” he said.

This coach from Croatia admits that Zhejiang is a sharp team. However, he also saw a gap in that the team coached by Jordi Vinyals often conceded during action in the Chinese League. Zhejiang is also the second worst club in defense in the Chinese League.

“So we have to be careful with them. We have to focus on defense and in attack we also have several options. David da Silva is back and they also have to be aware of our threat.
