Mayor of Padre Marcos announces the schedule of the VI Arraiá Boa Esperança – Cities on the Net

The city of Padre Marcos is already preparing to experience another traditional month of June. From May 31st to June 13th, the Catholic community celebrates the festivities of the patron saint, Saint Anthony, and at the same time, the Municipal Government promotes various cultural activities.

This Tuesday, May 28th, Mayor José Valdinar da Silva released the schedule for the VI Arraiá Boa Esperança, promoted by Padre Marcos City Hall, with the support of state deputy Georgiano Neto.

The cultural and festive event, which brings together various cultural manifestations, enhancing the identity of the municipality, begins on June 11th, with the delivery of reub titles, at the Social Center from 5pm.

On Wednesday, June 12th, at night, from 8:30 pm, Praça do Abrigo will be the stage for the Quadrilhas Festival. The 1st Accordion Festival and other cultural presentations will also take place.

On the 13th, in the afternoon, Mayor Valdinar Silva, alongside authorities and guests, will inaugurate works and deliver a new vehicle. And at 7pm, there will be the launch of “Padre Marcos da Boa Esperança; Education, Memory and Faith – Your legacy in the backlands”, written by vice-mayor Valdo Benedito.

The program ends with the shows. From 11pm, at Praça do Abrigo, artistic shows will take place with Lamarck Macedo, Mara Pavanelly and Rey Vaqueiro.
