Menpora Dito Guarantees Smooth Consumption and Accommodation for Peparnas XVII

Jakarta, Todaysgist.com – Minister of Youth and Sports (Menpora) Dito Ariotedjo guarantees that the XVII 2024 National Paralympic Week (Peparnas) in Surakarta, Central Java, can run smoothly, including food and accommodation matters.

He emphasized that the polemic that occurred at the XXI/2024 National Sports Week (PON) in the provinces of Aceh and North Sumatra (North Sumatra), 9-20 September, would not be repeated in Peparnas which will be held on 6-13 October 2024.

I have confirmed this by directly reviewing preparations from consumption to accommodation in Surakarta, Karanganyar and surrounding areas,” said Minister of Youth and Sports Dito when witnessing the signing of the cooperation agreement (PKS) with the Peparnas Grand Committee at the Media Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday (27/9/2024).

Dito said, regarding consumption issues, the Peparnas contingent would get facilities directly from the place of stay, such as a hotel.

“So it is provided directly from the hotel, quality controlsit’s guaranteed. “The calorie count and quality of the food itself are also guaranteed,” added Dito.

Peparnas 2024 will be held in Surakarta, Central Java on 6-13 October 2024 with competition in 20 sports. This event received funds from the APBN amounting to IDR 290 billion.

Dito said this figure in the PKS agreement which was attended by related institutions, such as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Chair of the Peparnas Grand Committee (PB), the Attorney General’s Office, the Police Criminal Investigation Unit, and the BPKP.
