Moon Taeil Case Forwarded to Prosecutors, Police Reveal Details in Sexual Crime Charges Against Him

Todaysgist.com, Seoul – The sexual crime case involving Moon Taeil has entered a new chapter. Reported by Celeb Confirmed, Friday (13/9/2024), Korea JoongAng aily reported that the police confirmed that the case had been transferred to the prosecutor’s office last Thursday.

In addition, there is one brief detail revealed by a police source regarding Moon Taeil’s condition at the time of the incident.

“Taeil was not under the influence of drugs at the time of the crime,” said the police representative.

As previously reported, Moon Taeil was reported to the police on June 13, and was questioned in late August. Soon after, SM Entertainment immediately released a statement that Taeil was leaving his group, NCT. This announcement caused a huge commotion, because previously this case had never been sniffed out by the public.

In SM’s announcement, the agency said they only found out about this case recently.

“We recently learned that Taeil has been accused of a sexual crime case. Once we checked the facts regarding the matter, we realized the situation was very serious and decided that Taeil would not be able to continue his activities with his group (NCT). After discussing with Taeil, we decided that he would leave the group,” the NCT agency said in a statement.
