MU wants to establish the top 4, West Ham is determined to break up the series of defeats

– Manchester United wants to win to strengthen its position in the top four while West Ham United wants to stop its bad record of always losing in the last three matches when the two teams meet in the Premier League continued, Sunday (7/5/2023) or Monday morning starting at 01.00 WIB.

The Red Devils want to get maximum points to strengthen their position in the top four in order to win a ticket to the Champions League next season. After narrowly losing 0-1 in their last game, MU is now still in fourth place with 63 points.

Even though Liverpool have played 35 matches and MU has only 33, if they continue to reap bad results their position in the top four could be evicted.

While West Ham is very motivated to win to break a series of three consecutive defeats. Previously, the London city club gave up 1-2 to Liverpool, fell 3-4 at Crystal Palace, and were beaten by Manchester City, 3-0 at the Etihad Stadium.

They also want to get three points so that their position in the standings does not sink further and fall into the relegation zone. Currently, David Moyes’ troops are slumped in 15th place and are only four points away from the occupants of the top position of the red zone, Nottingham Forest.
