National Data Center Collapsed, Following is a List of 56 Connected Public Services

The Temporary National Data Center (PDNS) 2 server has experienced problems since June 20 2024 and has had an impact on a number of public services, including the immigration system.

Until now, information is still circulating on social media stating that immigration processing at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Cengkareng, Tangerang, is still experiencing queues due to problems with the PDN server.

The Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) also apologized for the disruption at PDNS-2.

In an official statement from Kominfo, Saturday (22/6/2024), the Director General of Informatics Applications, Kominfo, Semuel Abrijani Pangerapan, said that over the last few days, steps to restore the PDN server from disruption have been carried out.

Kominfo also revealed the progress of PDN server recovery. One of them stated that immigration services such as passports, visas, residence permits and crossings had started to operate again.

“Some immigration services via autogate at Soekarno Hatta Airport have resumed operations in stages. Meanwhile, efforts are still being made to restore autogate services at other airports,” said Semuel in a statement.

Furthermore, so that the immigration process can run, a combination service with manual verification is still carried out by the Directorate General of Immigration, Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
