This game is the work of a local developer from Bandung, Digital Happiness, who previously had success with the famous horror game, DreadOut.

The launch of DreadHaunt was carried out at the Baparekraf Game Prime 2024 event, the largest game exhibition in Indonesia which was held from 17 to 18 August 2024 at the Atrium Mall Taman Anggrek, West Jakarta.

The event is supported by the Indonesian Game Developer Association (AGI) and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf). Aris Sudewo, CEO of Nuon, expressed his enthusiasm for the participation of the DreadHaunt game in this year’s Baparekraf Game Prime event.

“We are proud to be able to support and publish the work of the nation’s children such as the DreadHaunt game,” said Aris in his official statement, Saturday (18/8/2024).

He added, “through collaboration with local talents, we are committed to continuing to drive the progress of the Indonesian gaming industry.” Aris also emphasized the great potential of the gaming industry in the national creative economy.

“With the increasing development of technology and creativity of the nation’s children, we are optimistic that Indonesian-made games, such as DreadHaunt, will be able to compete in the international arena and provide a positive economic impact,” he added.

DreadHaunt is scheduled for official release in mid-September 2024, promising an intense gaming experience with a gripping psychological horror atmosphere.
