Padang Students Study Blockchain Problems with Bittime and AAG

Previously, sales of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT) recorded a small increase in the second week of May 2023, up around 31.22 percent compared to the first week of May 2023.

Reporting from Bitcoin.com, Monday (15/5/20230), throughout a seven-day interval, NFT sales reached USD 208.17 million or the equivalent of IDR 3 trillion (assuming an exchange rate of IDR 14,750 per US dollar). A substantial increase in NFT sales this week could associated with the emergence of NFTs originating from the Bitcoin blockchain.

Bitcoin NFT sales have emerged as a major contributor to the digital collectibles sales landscape, among 21 different blockchains as per cryptoslam data documented on May 14, 2023.

Ethereum NFT sales continue to be the highest with USD 111.26 million in NFT sales however, the runner-up position is held by Bitcoin-based NFTs, also known as Ordinal inscriptions.

The data shows that Bitcoin NFT sales earned USD 53.4 million or equivalent to Rp. 787.6 billion and took second place in terms of blockchain sales from 21 chains. Bitcoin NFT sales jumped 187.54 percent over the previous week.

Mythos blockchain NFTs also saw a sizeable increase as NFT sales rose by 69.66 percent in the previous week. The ascent propelled Mythos into the third largest ranking considering the top blockchain by NFT sales volume.

Solana, which previously held the second largest position, is now fourth in terms of NFT sales per blockchain. In the last seven days, Solana posted USD 8.7 million or equivalent to IDR 128.3 billion, a decrease of 21.16 percent compared to the previous week.

The fifth blockchain with the largest sales volume over the past week was Polygon for USD 7.79 million or equivalent to IDR 114.9 billion, down 7.07 percent.
