Pecco is getting closer to Jorge Martin, this is the MotoGP racer standings
Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – Ducati racer, Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia continues to stick closely with Prima Pramac racer, Jorge Martin in the standings after winning the Malaysian GP
Bagnaia, who managed to be the fastest in the race at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, Sunday (3/11/2024), is now in second place with a total of 461 points. Meanwhile, Jorge Martin still leads the standings with 485 points after finishing in second place in that race.
In the Malaysian GP race, Bagnaia managed to secure victory with a time difference of 3.141 seconds from Martin at the finish line.
This victory further emphasizes Bagnaia as a strong challenger in the race for the championship title, after successfully recording 10 main race wins this season, as well as collecting a total of 28 wins in MotoGP and 50 podiums throughout his career.
Meanwhile, the third position in the standings is occupied by Gresini Racing racer, Marc Marquez, who collected 369 points. He is closely overshadowed by Ducati racer, Enea Bastianini, who is in fourth place with 368 points after winning the third podium at the Malaysian MotoGP.
Competition is also fierce for the top five positions. Red Bull GasGas driver, Pedro Acosta, is in fifth place with 209 points. However, his position is still vulnerable because he is followed by Brad Binder from Red Bull KTM in sixth place with 206 points.
The 2024 MotoGP series will continue to the final series at the Valencia GP on 17 November. However, due to floods that hit the city of Valencia, Spain, this race was temporarily postponed until further announcements were made.
