For the past three years, Gary Gensler has used his power at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to confuse investors, stifle innovation, and attack good-faith actors. Gensler has consistently cracked down on crypto companies that stifle innovation in the crypto industry.

Trump said he would fire Gensler if elected president. After Trump announced this, the audience at the conference cheered.

Establishing a Bitcoin Advisory Council for the President

As was clear during the keynote, Trump still has a lot to learn about bitcoin. He was very respectful at this point instead of pretending to know more than he actually does.
