Persik Kediri Rotates Players When Facing Persita Tangerang in League 1

Kediri, Todaysgist.com – Persik Kediri will play the next League 1 match against Persita Tangerang at Brawijaya Stadium on Wednesday (18/9/2024). Persik Kediri coach Marcelo Rospide will rotate players in preparation for facing the visiting team, Laskar Cisadane.

“Because the preparation time is very short, we have to be ready with all the players and rotate if necessary,” Marcelo said in a press conference ahead of the match, Tuesday (17/9/2024).

Marcelo explained that the time gap between the match against PS Barito Putera and the match against Persita Tangerang, which was only around 72 hours, forced the coaching team to rotate.

He emphasized the importance of this match, especially because Persik Kediri will play in front of their supporters.

“With limited preparation time, we know how important this game is. It’s like a final for us,” Marcelo added.

Persik Kediri player representative Ousmane Fane agreed with the coach about the challenge of short preparation time. Nevertheless, he and his teammates are ready to give their best performance.

“We will give our best game in tomorrow’s match,” he said.

The fifth week match of Liga 1 2024/2025 between Persik Kediri and Persita Tangerang will be held at Brawijaya Stadium, Kediri. Currently, Persik Kediri is in 13th place with five points, while Persita Tangerang is in seventh place with seven points.
