Petrokimia Successfully Defends the 2024 Livoli Premier Division Champion Title

Gresik, Beritasatu.com – The Petrokimia Gresik Pupuk Indonesia women’s team successfully defended its 2024 Livoli Premier Division title. In the grand final match which was held at GOR Tri Dharma Petrokimia Gresik, Friday (22/11/2024) evening, the Petrokimia women’s team beat the Indonesian Navy team with a score 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, and 25-17).

This championship title is the third for the team from Pudak City, completing the two titles they previously won in 2005 and 2023.

In the 2023 Livoli Premier Division final at GOR Jayabaya, Kediri, Mediol Stiovany Yoku and friends beat the Indonesian Air Force also with a score of 3-0.

Petrokimia Gresik’s champion title at Livoli 2024 is even more complete with the players winning four individual category awards, each most valuable player (best player) Mediol Stiovany Yoku, best outside hitter Princess Nurhidayati Agustin, best middle blocker Shella Bernadetha, and best setter Ajeng Nur Cahaya.

As champion, Petrokimia Gresik apart from winning medals, permanent trophies and rotating trophies and at the same time received a coaching prize of IDR 50 million. Meanwhile the Indonesian Navy as runner-up took home a prize of IDR 30 million.

Meanwhile, in the match for third place, Bank Jatim managed to beat TNI AU Electric with a landslide score of 3-0 (25-17, 25-19 and 25-22).

As third place, Maya Kurnia Indri and her friends were entitled to a coaching prize of IDR 25 million, while the Indonesian Air Force received IDR 20 million.

“We must still be grateful for this result. The most important thing is, today our young players played more bravely than in previous matches. They will be the backbone of the team in the future,” said Bank Jatim coach Eko Waluyo.

The Petrokimia team who won Livoli 2024 received a cash prize of IDR 50 million, while all the best players received a coaching prize of IDR 1 million each and the MVP received IDR 1.5 million.
