Phinisi Lampung Women’s Team Defeats Bharata Jakarta

Jakarta, Beritasatu.com – The Phinisi Lampung women’s team brilliantly defeated Bharata Jakarta in the last eight of the 2024 U-19 Volleyball National Championship at GOR Siger, Bandar Lampung, Friday (13/12/2024).

In fact, Phinisi won with a score of 3-0 (26-24, 25-14 and 25-22) over Bharata Jakarta. The support of thousands of spectators made the Phinisi players very enthusiastic.

“The children competed with enthusiasm. I ask the children to play freely, don’t be afraid. Don’t look at the big names of the opposing team. You have to be confident,” said Phinisi coach, Eva Yuliana.

According to Bharata’s coach, Imam Ashari, the Phinisi team is very strong in defense and tenacious. “The ball is chased everywhere. They played really well today. “We have to evaluate our own game,” he said.

In the semifinal round of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship, Phinisi will meet Yuso Yogyakarta. Yuso overcame Petrokimia Gresik Pupuk Indonesia’s resistance with a score of 3-0 (27-25, 25-11 and 25-20).

“We won because we were more compact. Hopefully we can perform well in the semifinals tomorrow. “We are grateful to be able to perform well even though we lost two of our best players, Indah and Dara, who were injured here,” said Yuso’s coach, Suwido.

Meanwhile, in the other women’s match, Kota Impian Wahana had to pick up their suitcases after being defeated by another West Java team, Kharisma Premium 1-3 (26-24, 19-25, 19-25 and 16-25).

Kharisma will next meet the East Java team Jenggolo Sport Sidoarjo. Jenggolo in the last eight of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship defeated Smano Komet Lampung.

Smano Komet, who received the support of the audience, finally gave up 1-3 (25-21, 9-25, 17-25, and 15-25).

In the men’s group, Bharata Muda Jakarta will meet Smano Komet in the semifinals of the 2024 U-19 National Volleyball Championship. The other semifinal will bring together Bengkulu Jaya and Rajawali Pasundan.
