Pixel 9a Leaks: New Touch with Familiar Design, Ready for End of Year Release?

Todaysgist.com, Jakarta – Google just launched their latest Pixel series on August 14, 2024, by introducing the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

However, as is tradition, Google still has one more trump card that it has yet to show off to the public, namely the Pixel 9a.

While details about the Pixel 9a’s price and specs are still a mystery, we now have a sneak peek at what Google’s new phone will look like.

This is thanks to a leak uploaded by the ShrimpAppleProo account (@VNchocoTaco) on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Familiar Design, But with a New Twist

At first glance, the Pixel 9a design looks similar to the Pixel 9 with a flat screen and a hole-punch cutout. punch hole for selfie camera.

However, the bezels around the display appear thicker than the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro. This reminds us of the Pixel 8a which also has a thicker frame than the other Pixel 8 series.

The Pixel 9a’s body frame appears to be made of aluminum like the Pixel 9, and is finished in a similar matte finish.

One of the most noticeable design changes is the rearrangement of the SIM slot. Google has now placed it at the bottom of the phone, along with the USB-C port and speaker.

On the back, the Pixel 9a body is made of glass with a camera bar that is smaller and flatter than the Pixel 8 series and Pixel 9. This bar houses the two rear cameras, giving a cleaner and more minimalist impression.
