In the match for third place, Palembang Bank SumselBabel (PBS) won the last podium after defeating Jakarta STIN BIN. PBS won 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-18) Sunday afternoon WIB.

This achievement is an improvement for PBS who failed to reach the final four last year. Meanwhile, STIN BIN dropped one level after occupying the last podium in the 2023 Proliga.

Match Path

After both teams traded attacks until 3-3, PBS shot ahead by winning four consecutive points. They then continued to increase their lead to six points, 10-4.

STIN BIN tried to catch up to 12-14. However, PBS was able to move away after winning four points in a row. They then maintained the difference until finally winning the first set.

In the second set, PBS again cruised 8-4. However, this time STIN BIN did not let their opponents advance so easily. They fought back until 14-14.

The wind blew again towards PBS who won four points in a row. Even so, STIN BIN was able to cut it 17-19, before PBS shot up again after winning five points. The second set was successfully secured.

In the third set, PBS took the initiative again. They built a 3-4 point lead, up to five points at 15-10. PBS finally secured the win without difficulty.
